my almost 4 year old grandson has been diagnosed with sensory integration disorder he will be starting a special summer program and then into the regular program for the next year, Meanwhile he can be very defiant and definitly cannot not fall asleep easily at night. can you suggest some strategies to help with this problem or is the anthing we can give him to help relax which will help him settle down.
Hello,its a great thing that you have gone to a doctor.If I were your physician,apart from the regular treatment I would- 1)Give Clonazepam for sleep 2)Play some relaxing music,classical music,it is proven to help in such cases. As the medicine is a prescription only drug,kindly visit a psychiatrist.
