My wife was supposed to have a shoulder replacement yesterday. Although she had told everyone that she had a nickel allergy, no one noticed it on her charts until just before the surgery. After they had given her 10 mg of Oxy-Codone, 200 Mg of Celebrex, and 600 mg of Gabapentin. A drug that was once given to her and she had a severe reaction. They stopped the surgery procedure to locate a device that didn t contain nickel. She has not recovered from these drugs. She is terribly ill, and it is difficult to find help. Mt question is this. What can be done to bring the levels down. She has two knee replacements and a hip replacements. She has never had any problems with surgery before. Hoping for any suggestions. She has been drinking large amounts of liquids.
