Suggest Treatment For Severe Allergy

I am having a severe allergy reaction to a medication. I have been given the steroid packet where you take 7 then6 and so on. It has spread over my body and the last place is over my face. It burns, is really red, and one eye is swollen. Does this just need to run its course?
