Suggest Treatment For Severe Bowel Movement Problems

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...i have severe bowel movement problems.i would sometimes go a week without using the bathroom. i don't know if i could take laxatives because i'm afraid it might hurt a lot. I've had this problem for about 3-7 years maybe even more. What should i do to fix this problem?

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to constipation. There are many reasons that can cause constipation such as diet, dehydration, stress.

I recommend using laxatives such as Miralax. I also recommend using daily probiotics. You should drink liquids and eat a fibre-rich diet.
