Suggest Treatment For Severe Burning Sensation And Pain In Abdomen

Hi I've been having stomach flares for the past couple of days that keep getting worse and worse. I have a history of GERD, so my diet is very bland, small, and simple. I don't believe i have done anything to upset my stomach these past days. Yet i am doubling over in pain and can't keep any food down with these flares. I am so hungry but anything i eat seems to burn and cause so much pain. What should i do?
p,s, i 've been on aciphex for over a year now..

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

Since you a known case of GERD taking Aciphex for over a year, the symptoms are still continuing, the pain can not be explained on GERD alone.
There may be another reason.
I would advise you to have a review of upper GI Endoscopy, ultrasonography of the abdomen, Standing X-ray of the abdomen.

Treatment would be :
_Ranitidine
Domperidone
Antacid gel 3 hourly
Continue soft bland diet as you are already taking,
Consult a Surgeon for clinical evaluation and further treatment.
