I have had collar bone pain that is not severe but everyday on and off throbbing mostly at night but now starting to happen dureing the day on and off....I am 55, in good shape ...no shoulder injury or fall...pain going on about 3months I have lost about 10lbs...not trying to lose weight ...I have a full physical in about 2 weeks scheduled this anything to stress over....sister a year younger just got diagnosed with stage 3c overian cancer just found out 2 uncles diedof brain cancer ....kinda scared me....just wondering,thanks

Hello, Thanks for your query. The symptoms you have described are more likely to be symptoms of muscles strain. To get relief from the pain and for quick healing: 1. Do hot fomatation at the site. 2. Apply local anti-inflammatory gel 2-3 times a day. 3. Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to reduce pain and local swelling or inflammation. 4. Do not lift weight or try to do exercise that involve painful muscles.
Get an Xray done to ruleout any bony pathology.
