Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue And Headache

Getting almost daily onset of overheated head and subsequent headaches. Should mention have had severe fatigue years long that worsens as the work week progresses. Am drinking plenty of water. No amount seems to calm the overheating effect. The best way I can explain it is that it feels like I m radiating from the inside out.

Hello!

Welcome to HCM and thank you for your question!

Your symptoms could be related to high blood pressure or a metabolic cause.

What are your actual blood pressure values?

I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure and refer those values to your doctor.

Besides a careful physical examination some tests would help exclude other possible causes :

-complete blood count
-inflammation tests (PCR, sedimentation rate)
-thyroid hormone levels, to exclude possible thyroid imbalance.

A brain MRI would be necessary to exclude possible intracranial lesions, which could cause persistent headache.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes,
Dr. Aida
