Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever And Headache In A Child
My child is 5 a year old. Friday a week ago she developed a fever and a headache, points at her fore head. Since then with Tylenol and Motrin the fever is controlled. When they wear off the headache and fever come back. Averaging between 100.0 to 103.0. Today is day 7. We have been to Urgent Care, ER and Primary Care and they all say its probably something viral . Tested for UTI and Flu, Nose, Eyes, Ears, Throat clear. Lungs sounded a little Crackly . No other tests have been ran. Lymphnodes not swollen. No other syptoms.HELP
Hi, As one week passed and there is no improvement there can be possibility of having bacterial infection and might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5-7 days. Consult your doctor and discuss about this. Give her light diet and plenty of water. Ok and take care.
