Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever In A Eight Year Old Child

Dear sir, My son eight year old is having severe fever from evening ...took him to a doc she gave calpol 500mg tablet ....given him at nine pm but still the fever hasn t reduced ....am wiping his whole body with warm water two hours once ... getting worried so much becoz he is still the same .....can u suggest something ?

Hi, if fever is not relieved by giving crocin then you should do cold sponging of body and give meftal P syrup 7 ml to the child and fever will come down. Take care.
