Hi Dr Prasad, I had visited Dermatologist with Scar on Skalp with Hair Loss. Their are three bigger size Scar and rest 4 smaller is shape. Have done Blood Testing and Biopsy. ANA was very Weak Positive with Speckled done at Metropolis. DSDNA was Negative. Followed by examine by Rehumatologist described for ANA Blot which was entire Negative. Biopsy does not clear indicate DLE but i am treated with HCQS - 200mg. Havutis Forte. I am being told to continue with HCQS -200 , Hauvtis forte and Tacroz Forte... I am little unclear whether I have lupus...
I have tried to understand your scalp condition and it seems you are having scarring alopecia.
3 main conditions to rule out,
-Follicular lichen planus (lichen plano pilaris) -Cutaneous lupus -pseudo Palade of broque.
I think biopsy report should rule out Lichen planus and lupus.pseudo Palade of broque is many times diagnosis of exclusion.
If new bald patches are still arising or size of existing patch increasing we can think of oral betamethasone pulse therapy to halt the disease process.
Thank uou, hope this conversation will help you
