Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Vomiting
Hello Doc..I got a severe headache last night..it felt as though someone squeezed my head like a lemon...I didn t have aspirin so I took half of Dolo tablet..I also felt cold for sometim..but after taking the dolo tablet I felt relieved..I vomited the other day..because of travelling..I wanted to know why all this happened suddenly..Bcoz I rarely get headaches...
Hi, welcome to HCM, At times the stomach gets upset (you say you vomited after traveling) and the effect lasts for sometime. Then there is a trigger of some food that does not agree with us and it can present as gastric (stomach) symptoms, or occasionally only as headache. I think in your case that is the cause. If you are still having problems I would suggest taking Omeprazole 40 mg one dose. And if you again get a similar attack you can try this instead of Aspirin/Dolo and see if it works. Your diagnosis will be confirmed. Incidentally, aspirin for pain should be avoided as far as possible--regards
