Hello. Thanks for asking form HCM.
I can understand your concern. From your history, we are thinking of two possibilities
:
Stress or
tension headache leading to all these problems. This tension headache usually occurs due to eye muscle spasm caused by lack of sleep, bright light prolonged exposure and to some part mental stress. As you are having most of the causative factors, your headache is not decreasing at all.
: Stress and
insomnia leading to all these problems. It means that your stress, lack of sleep is causing lack of interest in school, headache.
These two are different, but management is almost similar. You can follow few tips
: To relieve mental stress, take a break and do some fun activities.
: For sleep, you can avoid watching late night TV, laptop or mobile. Avoid sleep during daytime. Do not think too much before going sleep. Avoid coffee or tea or
smoking (if you are doing) and specially during night.
: Daily exercise to relieve stress and to get good sleep.
: Communicate with your family to relieve tension and to seek solutions of your daily problems.
: Prefer light meal before going sleep to avoid heaviness in abdomen.
: For school, you can take help from your friends, take tuitions for weaker subjects, do daily homework and study for sometime. Take break on weekend.
: Indulge in some sports to remain fit, increase your motivation.
: For pain, you can take painkiller like
Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription.
: You can ask for
head massage.
: Get your eye checked up for need of glasses.
Hope it will help you. If still no relief,
consult doctor for headache or you can send your details of headache by asking another question.
Take care. Thanks.
