Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache

My grand children have going back to school head aches and generally are not well. I have aches and pains but know I cannot take aspirin or ibubrufen. What can I take? I am over here from France looking after the children as my d- in-law is in Australia. I M not registered with a doctor.

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would recommend taking acetaminophen or naproxen. These drugs are helpful in headaches and do not raise your blood pressure.

Meanwhile, I would recommend you to measure your blood pressure, because high blood pressure could be the cause of headache, especially in old aged persons.

Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings!
Dr. Aida
