Suggest Treatment For Severe Itchiness In The Vagina And Thigh Area

The crease between my vagina and leg is extremely raw. It burns and itches. It has been this way for a couple of weeks and has a slight odor. I have been using diaper rash cream and it hasn t helped. What could it be and how can I treat it? I am 14 weeks postpartum.

According to your history it seems to be a case of intertrigo which is inflammation of the folds. You should keep this area as dry as possible, stay in cool airy environment. wear loose cotton clothing including the underwear, avoid using soap on this area. Use clobetasol miconazole containing cream over this area along with levocetrizine tablet. Also take fluconazole tablet to cure any superadded fungal infection.I hope this will surely help you.
