Suggest Treatment For Severe Itchiness On The Legs

On monday i went swimming in a salt water pool (which i have been in many times before) when i got out, i went to go lay down on a cushioned lawn chair .. I was laying on my stomach and i began to feel my lower legs (knee down) to be very itchy. I shrugged it iff cause i thought it was the cushion itching me. When i got up i had hives everywhere on my lower legs. They are still here and very itchy.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Your description of the problem indicates an allergy to the cushion material as when the skin is wet it is more likely to catch the allergy causing substances. please take anti allergic like Cetirizine and apply some mild steroidal cream like hydrocortisone to get relieved.when it is well controlled taper the dose and quickly stop them. If the problem persists despite these measures, then you might require consulting a dermatologist. Alll the best to you.
