Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching Sensation On The Foot
My foot has been itching for over a year. Went to the er and they said its not athletes foot. It itches so bad it wakes me in my sleep and I scratch so much it bleeds and causes sores. Went to 3 clinics but they all say athletes foot which it is not. Please help

Hi.
As per your case history of itching on feet, my treatment advice is -
1. Apply an antifungal plus steroid cream like candid-b cream twice daily on it.
2. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
3. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, fluconazole taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
