Suggest Treatment For Severe Lack Of Focus And Concentration
Hello! My name is Aaron and I have noticed a significant decrease in my ability to focus and concentrate on many of the tasks I perform, such as studying at school, focusing on my job, and even trying to workout. I use to take adderall as a child because I had severe adhd but stopped when I was roughly 11 because I thought I grew out of it. Unfortunately, I feel as though it is beginning to develop once again. I was wondering if there was anyone I can speak to about my situation?
Your lack of ability to focus and concentrate could be caused by several factors. If your diagnosis was correct when you were a child, you were probably diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperacive Disorder (ADHD formerly called ADD), but sometimes children are incorrectly diagnosed with this disorder and are given Adderall, which is an amphetamine.
Lack of focus, inattention, and inability to concentrate can also be one of the symptoms of depression. You have not stated your other issues, if any, so I can only tell you what these symptom can also mean.
I suggest getting an assessment from a psychiatrist. You may have adult ADHD, and your physician may try the appropriate medication to try to alleviate the symptoms.
I wish you great success.
Warm regard,
Elliott
