Suggest Treatment For Severe Migraine

good morning sir . my name is aastha prateek. i study in loreto convent ranchi. i am suffering from migrane since last three and a half years. i am under the treatment of dr.kk sinha , should i go to vellore for treatment. or what should i do? d pain is getting worse day by day

Thank you for the question on HCM!
Regarding your concern I would recommend to start a therapy for the prevention of the migraine attacks.
I would recommend topiramate or amytriptiline for this purpose for some months.
These drugs are very effective in reducing the frequency and the severity of migraine attacks.
Other drugs to take into consideration would be propranolol and valproate.
I would also recommend a brain MRI to exclude other causes of headache.
