Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Left Ribs To Arm

hi ive had very serve pain in my left ribs and it runs round my back and down my arm ive had this for a fair few months now i had ultra sound and said they think it could be nerve irataion. Is there any treatment for this as the painrelif does not seem to work and it affects my breathing

Hi,

The most likely cause would be nerve irritation - starting at the neck and affecting a specific part of the body. Tests required are MRI of C Spine, NCV (L) Upper limb. Treatment is generally medicines and physiotherapy.
