Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Wrist And Elbow
I have been diagnosed with bilateral slac. over the last 9 months i have gotten steriod shots 3 times. each time it only gave alittle relief for a week or 2. the pain is constant with very frequent sever pain ( feels like a long knife being stuck thru my bones from the underside of my wrists to my elbow . both wrists lock in place at times with no movement possible. both wrists have lost strength to the point it is difficult to even pick up and hold a 12 oz can of soda. the pain is present weather waring braces or not. even when wrists are stationary. what can be done to relieve the pain and regain some movement in my wrists.
You have SNAC wrist which has occurred bilaterally. this arthritis occurs when one is negligent with treatment of fracture scaphoid, and now you want movement and pain relief also. be judicious in your demands if you have been negligent in your treatment in the past and remember your pain and stiffness is a nature call to tell you that you will need fusion of the joint to relieve of pain, surgery is the only option, now and that too will not provide movement but will cause you relief in pain.
