Hi I'm 24 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first child I am in the hospital now and have been here a week now. I have severe preeclampsia and since Wednesday my vagina has been swollen and will not go down they have Put ice on it and everything. what can be causing this and how do I get it to go back down?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Severe preeclampsia is associated with swelling of legs and genital are due to the pathology associated. This swelling will gradually decrease with time as the blood pressure will come under control and you are given proper medications. Sometimes, it gets completely resolved only after delivery.
