Suggest Treatment For Severe Radiating Pain From Shoulder Blade To Chest

Hi, I am experiencing a sharp pain behind my right shoulder blade which runs to my chest (where my clavicle and sternum meet). It feels like a pinched nerve but would like to make sure its nothing serious. Important facts: I am 25 years old, 5 11, 175 lbs, have psoriasis, I workout, work a desk job and sleep on my side. Thanks for the help!

Hi. I can understand your concern.
If the chest pain is disturbing your routine activity then get a chest x ray done to rule out any lung infection or it could be just a muscle pull. Do not lift heavy weights
Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
Ibuprofen is anti inflammatory.
You will definitely improve with combination of painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Also apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Avoid movements causing pain.
Don't worry, you will be alright in 1-2 weeks.
But better to first rule out lung infection.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
