Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my father is suffering from very severe respiratorty problem and reproductive cough. he is 70 yrs old and not able to stand up and walk 2or 3 meter due to problem of respiration . wheezing sound starts and not able to inhale air through nose or mouth. he feels very uncomfortabe at that time and even not able to eat 2 chapaties in a day and also no reauirement of water he says my stomuch is full i will not eat anything nor i wil drink water. even after giving oxygen from concentrator for 12-15 hrs daily and salbutamol and foremotrol inhalor and doxyfyllinr tab there is no improvement
He needs to be seen by a doctor promptly. He could have developed pneumonia or a problem with his heart. I suggest you take him to emergency and get his oxygen levels checked and a chest x-ray. If he's not responding to his regular medicines, he needs more aggressive treatment at the hospital to get his breathing under control. Hope this helps.
