Suggest Treatment For Severe Right Ear Pain

I had recently went to the doctor, about two weeks ago. I have swimmers ear, in my right ear. They prescribed me some medicine, Amoxicillion, and Ear Drops. I didn t take the pills for a whole ten days, because I felt better in about five days. My pain is coming back, and my hearing is horrible in my right ear. I also hear a low ringing sound.

Welcome in HCM

I have gone through your query regarding severe pain in ear. Your same right ear had this problem 2 months back also and that time it was diagnosed as glue ear. Though at your previous illness it responded well to conservative treatment.

At present two possibilities are suspected-

1- Otitis externa.

2- Acute otitis media.

The line of treatment is different for above both conditions therefore it will be better to consult your doctor for examination and treatment.
