Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder And Neck Pain
Hi there. I have had a sharp pain in my right shoulder/neck for over a year now it started occurring when I was pregnant with my son. It burns and almost feels like its pulling. It affects my work a lot. I have been several times to the doctor who have xray for nerve damage etc but nothing :/ what else could this be :(
Your symptoms seem to suggest that you have got Cervico-Brachial Neuralgia. It can be as a result of a nerve root compression in the neck region. An xray would not be able to diagnose the same.I suggest that you go for an MRI of your Cervical Spine and follow up with an Orthopaedic surgeon at the soonest. Meanwhile, do not strain your neck sitting infront of a Desktop for long spans,or ride a 2 wheeler without appropriate neck support. If the pathology is mild, a few tablets and a bit of physiotherapy ought to do the trick.
