Suggest Treatment For Severe Shoulder Pain And Arm Pain
I am experiencing severe pain in both shoulders and upper arms. I have no chest pain or heart problems. I am also experiencing a severe rash over a significant portion of my body that coincides with the onset of the pain. I have had the shingles vaccine.
Yes your symptoms suggest shingles. You can reduce symptoms by taking anti viral medication like acyclovir consulting your doctor.
Neurotropic medication like pregabalin and methylcobalamine may help to reduce pain you can start them consulting your doctor. Calamine lotion may help to reduce irritation.
If required blood investigation like CBC will help in prognosis. Vaccine dose does not confirm that you wont have shingles.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health.
Take care.
