Suggest Treatment For Severe Sneezing Despite Taking Fluticasone

I can’t stop sneezing and itching despite daily doses of fluticazone, zertec and night Benadryl. A friend has suggested Guaifenesin; said she has not had a cold since she started. However, I was just diagnosed with high blood pressure and am taking a 5 mg calcium blocker. Is there a problem trying Guaifenesin? Thanks. A

Hello,

Guaifenesin probably won't raise your blood pressure because it is a mucolytic. But if it is associated with phenylephrine, then it is a problem. Use a tablet L Montus once a day for five days. If your symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
