Suggest Treatment For Severe Soreness In The Nipples
5 days ago i have developed both nipples have been really sore to touch. i cant wear a bra its worse than getting a tattoo or piercing. i am not pregnant. i am not sexually active. i have talked with other doctors and they ask me if i am cold with hands or feet or anything. and im not. but i dont understand it.
I really appreciate your concern. Because soreness of nipples could be due to friction, hormonal imbalances, inflammatory disorders, allergic skin conditions, infections, sexual activity, pregnancy or breastfeeding. If a lady with similar symptoms comes to my clinic I would further ask her about her about age, skin allergies and do the physical examination of breast. I advise you have cold and warm compresses on the breast for relieving the symptoms. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
