Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Bloating

Hi, I m a 23 year old male, I gave up smoking 2 months ago. Soon after I started getting a bloated tummy and I ve had it now for over a month. After going to the doctors 4 times there booking me for an ultra sound, what are the problems they can find? I ve also been having regular blood tests due to my liver working hard and they cant figure out why. I recently found out hemochromatosis runs in my family. Is this causing my bloated tummy? Please help. Thank you. Luke Arnell

dear,
i understand ur concern.
firstly yes haemochromatosis may cause GI disturbances but that is less likely and secondly mostly ur having either GERD or gastritis which is the most common cause of abdomen bloating.
i will suggest you to modify ur diet.no spice/less oil and high fibre content..
in treatment use ppi group
pantoprazole extended release along with liq. antacids like syp. digene.
further i ll suggest u to go for a 10 day course to eradicate h. pylori infection as now a days it is most commonly asso. with gastritis.
i will suggest to for a upper gi endoscopy as advised by ur physicia.
thanks.
