Suggest Treatment For Severe Stomach Pain In A Child

Every now and then (especially when the dummy goes in!) my 2 1/2 year old son screams and cries that his mouth and tongue hurt. I cant see what it could be. His tongue looks a little white but the tip looks red, maybe a little too red but it looks normal . What could it be?
