I had a sever sunburn. THen it peeled badly a bit for a day. Not all but just some. Then I was out in the sun again the next day for like an hour with no sun block on again and am now burned even Worse in the spots where I peeled. Feels worse because it s like fresh skin that is now sunburned. Feels a lot worse. Putting aloe on stings! It has turned into a crusty and painful scab. What do you recommend?
Hi, Kindly goto the ER if the burns are severe, if you are dehydrated or your skin shows symptoms of infection. These are few remedies that may be helpful" 1. Drink lots of water and fluids. 2. Take a cool bath. 3. Apply cold wet compresses. 4. Take a paracetamol 650mg OR Ibuprofen 400mg to relieve pain. 5. Apply topical pain relievers- Lidocaine spray 6. Take steroidal - cortisone cream to reduce inflammation. 7. Wear loose clothing. Kindly consult a physician before taking any medications.
