Suggest Treatment For Severe Testicle Pain

My left testicle hurts only when I sit down. It's been about a week that it's been hurting. Also I had burning in my urine for a couple days before the testicles were bothering me. Doesn't burn now though. Just wondering what this could be I'm 36 years old

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The pain in the left testicle on sitting, burning in urination is suggestive of urinary tract infection and retrograde infection of the testis and/or epididymis called epididymo-orchitis.
This can be diagnosed by:
-Culture and sensitivity of the urine and routine test.
Tests of blood to see for infection and for kidney function tests as well as to rule out diabetes.
Ultrasonography and color doppler of the scrotum and abdomen.
-Continue antibiotics till there is cure.
Culture and sensitivity will give further clue for the most suitable antibiotics.
Also take urinary alkalinizer, anti-inflammatory with painkiller properties.
Give scrotal support.
Have regular review and do not stop treatment till cure.
