Suggest Treatment For Sharp Chest Pain And Shoulder Pain In A 12 Year Old Girl
My daughter of age 12 has sharp recurring pains in her chest and shoulders. She says the pain feels like as if she were stabbed. It will happen sometimes more than twice a month(dose not follow a pattern). I do not think that this is growing pains because she says it not her muscles that hurt. I am worried that it is something serious and all of my local pediatricians don t do anything about it. Do you think her chest and shoulder pains could be something dangerous? Will she need to see a specialist?

Probably she will require a chest x ray to evaluate the same. Consult a pulmonologist for the same. If she is having other associated symptoms she will need some more investigations.
