Suggest Treatment For Sharp Chest Pain Caused By An Injury

i just got a very hard impact to my chest kidding around with a friend who's knee hit me hard, knocked my down and i had trouble breathing. now i have sharp pains with every deep breath but i can't breath that deeply at all. some swelling. should i go to the hospital? what else should i watch for ?

It would be advisable for you to get a chest x ray done. It is needed to rule out any rib fracture or lung contusion and x ray will help to see for it .
