Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain In Ear

Hi, over the past three days I have developed bad ear ache in my left ear which spans over the left side of the skull and the lower left jaw. I also hear constant buzzing in my head. I also noticed that if I blow my nose then I feel sharp pain in the ear. I have taken some pain killer which causes temporary relief. Because I am away from home it was not easy to consult a doctor so I asked a pharmacist for anti biotic tablets and he gave me Amoxycilin 500 mg which I took one of. He also gave me candibiotic ear drops which I also used once. It seems that the ear drops have made the ache worse. I am now concerned and because it may not be easy to see a doctor whilst away I am seeking some advice. Thank you.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute infection in left ear, either internal or external.
Continue with amoxiciline for 3-5 days.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine like ibuprofen for 3 days.
Ok and take care.
