I have been having random sharp pain in my right temple area for the last few months. It can come every few days or it can be weeks between and there is no time of day or during the month it occurs. It is always in the same place and it is a sharp pain that lasts a few seconds. I m now getting a little worried
Hello dear, I understand your concern. You apparently are having unilateral ,episodic ,sharp pain in the right temple area.Though it could have been migraine but duration of a few seconds is unusual for migraine. It can be a paroxysmal hemicrania or some other primary headache variant. But,secondary intracranial cause of this should be ruled out. Please visit a neurologist so that he takes a detailed history,do a meticulous examination and brain imaging(if he feels so).I hope this reply helps you.
