Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain Under The Breasts

I have been having sharp pain under the left breast on and off for the last couple of weeks. I find that messaging the area helps and it goes away. This has happened to me a few years ago, thinking that it was a heart attach I went to emergency and they say it was nothing. What else can this be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

based from your description, it could possibly be a cyst, a fibroma (fibrous tissue formation) or fibrocystic changes of the breast, which are all benign breast lesions. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for clinical evaluation. diagnostics such as breast ultrasound and mammography may be recommended. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
