Suggest Treatment For Sharp Pain Underneath Rib Cage?
I have a sharp pain underneath my rib cage on the left hand side. its been hurting for a week and hurts to bend over it hurts to lay down it hurts to cough it hurts to laugh and it hurts to sneeze. my lower back is now sore I have the cold sweats I did accidentally swallow my lip ring with no ball at the tip maybe it could be doing damage and it didn t pass through me I m thinking it can also be a UTI because I don t drink water
Hello, I have studied your case and I think that it is not that ring which is causing yo u trouble. There can be two possibilities. 1. First is that you must be having a rib fracture or muscle pull. It can happen with any fall, sudden bending and some time even with a very mild jerk. So you should get a chest xray to rule out any bone problem. 2. Other cause can be UTI as you are also thinking. You should get a urine examination to find out the cause. Tblet Brufen and hot water fomentation will be helpful for you during these painful episodes. You can also apply voletran ointment.Let me know if there is any other followup question.
