Suggest Treatment For Sharp Stabbing Pain In The Knee

I am experiencing a sharp stabbing pain in the medial area of my L knee. It feels weak when I step, like it s going to give out, and is tender to touch. I didn t have specific injury but have been doing a lot of walking on concrete. I have also tried different shoes but the pain remains. What could this be?
