Hello,

you are experiencing pain in the lower abdomen, the abdomen seems swollen. You also have sharp vaginal pain. Your symptoms are indicative of UTI. You should get urinalysis (R / E and C / S) done at the earliest. Take plenty of water. If UTI is detected you will need a course of Bactrim, if you have allergy to Bactrim; you can take a course of Cefriaxone. To get relief from abdominal discomfort, take antacids / PPIs to get rid of discomfort.

If it still hurts you can take spasmol (spasmoproxyvon), one stat when needed. Other medical conditions that can cause similar symptoms are yeast infection, rough sexual intercourse, hormonal changes, nerve injury. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynae if your symptoms do not subside. In the meantime, avoid the use of scented vaginal products, use soft toilet paper. Avoid activities like biking or horseback riding that put pressure on the vulva for a couple of days.

Do not use harsh chemical products or shampoo or any other synthetic substance in the vulvar area. Rinse the vulva with comfortably cool water each time after urination. Apply plain petroleum jelly or Soframycin / Bacitracin ointment on the vulva after a bath. If sexually active, avoid sex for a couple of days till your symptoms go away. Always use water based lubricants before penetrative sexual intercourse.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
