Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath And Jittery Feeling On Chest

I am having shortness of breath feeling jittery and chest hurts. I have asthma and was sent to the ER last Fri where they diagnosed pneumonia I have finished all meds and been back to the doctor 2 times. Was feeling better until today. What could it be now?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
Infection is the most common cause for asthma attack or worsening asthma symptoms.
So your pneumonia troubled you in asthma control.
At present I advice you to get done repeat chest x ray and compare it with your previous x rays.
If any worsening is there then mostly your symptoms are due to partially treated pneumonia only.
Better to get done sputum culture and sensitivity to guide antibiotic therapy. If sputum is not available then go for Bronchoscopy and BAL ( Broncho Alveolar Lavage ) analysis to guide organism specific therapy.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
