Suggest Treatment For Shortness Of Breath When Diagnosed With COPD
my husband has COPD he was recently in the hspital where they gave him a his nebalizor with medical air and almost need to put him on a ventulator. he is home and not doing well short of breathe I hate to take him back in. he was in better shape b4 he was admited what 2 do

Hello,
Ipratropium bromide like bronchodilator drug useful in COPD patient. So if needed you can give this bronchodilator drug through nebulization at home. Arterial oxygen level also should be checked for low than oxygen therapy. Also needed to assess severity pulmonary function test.
Consult pulmonologist for examination and decide management plan accordingly.
