Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since you are active smoker, your shortness of breath is mostly due to bronchitis.
So first of all you should quit smoking. Smoking is extremely dangerous in pregnancy. So stop immediately.
Consult pulmonologist for the diagnosis and treatment of bronchitis.
You will need inhaled bronchodilators (formoterol or salmeterol) and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) (budesonide or fluticasone).
For nasal blockage, steam inhalation 4-5 times a day is best.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
