Suggest Treatment For Sinus Headache

My mother says she has a sinus headache but has also thrown up twice today & is not really cognizant. She has been sitting in a chair all day & had no idea about throwing up the first time. She also has been sleeping & when try to wake her up she can barely open eyes. I just made her drink some water & she threw it up almost immediately. I need to know if I should call ambulance?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus headache well the symptoms you mention in query pointing towards severe sinus infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis without any delay to prevent the further complication. Doctor may order CT scan x-ray and nasal endoscopy . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin at least for 10 days along with decongestant and expectorant . For now take steam thrice a day to relieve the congestion and apply warm compresses on face and take anti allergic like bendryl.
