Suggest Treatment For Sinus Problem Along With Dust Allergy

Dear Dr. Rynne, My son has had blocked sinus problems for about 10 years (he is now 50 years old) I am writing to you for advise as his wife died 2 weeks ago and he now wants to sort his health problem. He had an X ray several years ago which showed the left 'cheek sinus' was narrow and, also, that he is allergic to dust mites. Do you think he needs an operation to widen the passage?
