I can understand your concern for allergic reaction from the Nickel in your gold ring. I can interpret from your query that you have allergic tendency from the nickel. It is quite often seen that if a person is allergic to nickel or related metal then the allergic phenomenon continues for a long period of time. This kind of allergic phenomenon is known as contact allergic dermatitis. There is no as such medication which can reduce this tendency and the best treatment is avoidance of the contact material. Even then there are certain hypoallergic creams which can be applied for multiple times to reduce the tendency of this kind of contact allergy. You can take further guidance from your treating dermatologist. Take care.
