Suggest Treatment For Skin Allergies After Taking I-pill
I took the ipill abt 18 months back within the 48 hr period of hvin unprotected sex with my bf. After takin the pill, I hv developed a rash on my Legs, hands, thighs and in mouth that hasnt disappeared. It isnt red or xtremely itchy buh it looks lik lil scabs after u ve gooten burnt. I thought it mite b an allergic reaction to something I ate but I after researchin on the ipill, I learnt tht skin allergies is a side effect. What should I do??? N will da rash clear up???
detailed answer: as per your history, you may have allergic reaction called as lichenoid drug reaction after taking I pill. - you may take tab levocetrizine twice a day for itching. - you may apply topical corticosteroids such as Betnovate cream twice a day over the lesions for 2 weeks. - consult a dermatologist before taking the tablet again or if the lesions are persistent. wishing you good health. thank you
