Suggest Treatment For Skin Burn

hi,
i burn my leg in my bike silencer which results in 3 cm radius blister.i broke the blister and i can see red skin then i applied burnol oinment for 3 days but it some what cured the wound but it is not so fast,can you porescribe me a better oinment

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Since the exposed skin is raw due to rupture of blister, therefore the main concern is to prevent secondary bacterial infection till the skin regenerates.

I would suggest you an oral antibiotic e.g penicillin or cephalosporin group of antibiotics for a week along with topical antibacterials like either siverex ointment or 2% mupirocin ointment twice daily.
