Suggest Treatment For Skin Hives On The Back And Chest
my husband starting getting hives on his back and chest approximately 3 yrs ago. he was allergy tested and we have watched his diet. The hives now are with swollen lips and voice I hoarse. we do have a EPI pen and have been instructed on its use. I am very concerned that these hives seem to be more random and the hoarse voice.. tonite his lft eye hs swollen almost completely shut seem like the lew symptoms re getting worse.. I just gave him 50 mg Benadryl and Claritin
The diagnosis is Chronic spontaneous urticaria Many patients require years of antihistamines on a daily basis to control their symptoms, many such antihistamines are safe to use for this long duration. Start tab Levocetrizine 5 mg at bedtime daily for 15 days Give tab Albendazole 400 mg at bedtime single dose apply dermocalm lotion , if lesions appear Maintain a lesion calendar to see the control (date and no. of lesions) Review after 15 days. take care
