I have been battling with a skin infection for the past two weeks but have not seen any progress in my healing.I had carbuncles in my armpit and it later went off on its own.Soon I started having rash all over my back and laps.the pharmacist gave me clamysol capsules to take once a day and hydrocortisone cream to rub on the affected areas but it is gradually increasing to my arms and chest. What can I start taking to end this stubborn skin infection.
If you have carbuncles it means that it is bacterial skin infection, its better doing an antibiogram to find the bacteria and the best treatment for it, stop using Hydrocortisone cream and begin to use a topical antibiotic cream like fusidic ac cream twice a day on effected area.
